Welcome to our site! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing since 1994. I specialize in treating women using a variety of modalities based on your needs.  One of the questions I will ask you when we meet is, “What would you like to see different in your life because you came here?”  This will be a good starting point for our work together.  I see my role in our work together as your partner in your recovery journey.  You will set the pace and degree of intensity of our work together.  I will offer you a number of skill sets, therapeutic techniques, reflection, and support while you do the work of healing yourself. It is beautiful work and I am privileged to accompany you on your healing journey. Update: My current focus is providing quality individual and group supervision and training to my team to bring you exceptional treatment and care.

My specialties include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), EMDR, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy, and other functional models, as well as mindfulness practices. I am a DBT-L Intensively Trained Clinician. Borderline Personality Disorder, relationship challenges, PTSD with emphasis on sexual and birth traumas, OCD, gray-area drinking, and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMAD) are the most common areas of work for the women I treat. I also use mindfulness practices to assist you in managing anxiety, impulsivity, or maintaining sobriety.  As your recovery evolves in stages, your treatment will too. We, as people, aren’t one-dimensional.  Your treatment won’t be either. If you are interested in making lasting changes to improve your life, I am here to accompany you as you create your Life Worth Living!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and sober therapists and BIPOC communities, reading, dance, yoga, hiking and backpacking with my husband and poodle, Alice.
