Making the choice to go to therapy can be difficult and a little bit scary sometimes, but I am here to let you know that it can also be a fun and beautiful journey!
Some of the areas I specialize in are anxiety, depression, grief, and changing unhealthy coping skills. I enjoy meeting my clients where they are and working on goals that we collaborate on together. I use a variety of modalities, but a few include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, the Enneagram and Art Therapy. I enjoy helping others learn and understand cognitive distortions that may have developed in their lives, as well as identify our mental reactions to experiences in our lives that have impacted how we view ourselves, others, and the world around us.
I am also a registered Art Therapist and I believe that art can be for anyone if we allow it to be! Sometimes we have to get out of our own heads and art can provide a fun and different way to do that. It is more about the process and journey it takes us on rather than the product!
In my free time, I enjoy board games, reading, playing video games, baking, and spending time with family and friends! I am also very passionate about pizza and ice cream!! Some other things I enjoy are traveling, going to the lake, bike riding, and tennis!
