Womanhood is a unique and multifaceted experience with the capacity to be both incredibly beautiful and deeply painful, often at the same time.

Many of us face challenges in our lives that scar us, isolate us, and sometimes knock us all the way down. It is my passion to be the hand that pulls women from all walks of life back up and to help them recognize their own inherent strength and resilience.

We women are extraordinary by nature. I decided to become a therapist during my 4-year journey with infertility and pregnancy loss. During this journey, I experienced a type of isolation that I want to make sure no woman ever has to feel. One day, a woman conducting my ultrasound shared her IVF journey with me and I realized the power of connection in healing pain. There is comfort and strength to be found in seeing that you are not alone.

Starting therapy for the first time, especially when dealing with issues that are so vulnerable and personal, can be scary! As a therapist, it is my goal to make every woman I work with feel safe, heard, supported, and powerful.

Though I am passionate about perinatal issues including infertility, pregnancy loss, traumatic pregnancy & births, post-partum depression, and adjustment to parenthood, I also have experience working with substance abuse/addictions on both the individual and family levels. Additionally, I have worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, and borderline personality disorder.

My approach to therapy is highly individualized, strengths-based and focused on empowerment. I utilize a variety of techniques tailored to each client including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and cognitive processing therapy (CPT).

Outside of therapy, I spend most of my time with my husband and almost 3-year-old daughter. I love cooking, sleeping, spending time with friends, and almost any Adam Sandler movie. I also believe in the healing power of a good dark sense of humor.

I would love to meet you and walk alongside you on your journey towards peace, fulfillment, and healing. You are not alone!
