Idamarie is a therapist who believes that no emotional wound is beyond healing. She is passionate about guiding her clients to transform what has been poison in their lives into medicine for themselves and the world.
Idamarie has a Master's Degree in Social Work from Indiana University Indianapolis, specializing in Mental Health and Addictions. She is experienced supporting young adults and adults through pregnancy and postpartum, parenting, intergenerational family violence, trauma, domestic violence, grief and loss, substance use/addiction, and intergenerational cultural dissonance.
Idamarie uses a blend of relational and individual techniques to create a nonjudgmental space where you can bravely heal at your own pace. Her approach is compassionate and deeply personalized, offering a feminist, trauma-informed, culturally safe, and non-dogmatic framework. She believes in creating a welcoming space for all and works to ensure that you feel respected, understood, and empowered throughout your journey.
When she’s not working, Idamarie is a mom, a lover of old stories, enjoys her eclectic catalog of music, and is passionate about this great green earth. She cares for herself by making beauty with her hands, reading, connecting with loved ones, and listening to her kid tell jokes over a cup of matcha tea.
